FAUSTIN A. PIPAL, JR., a partner with the firm, is a 1980 graduate of the Northwestern University School of law. Prior to attending law school, he earned both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
Mr. Pipal’s practice is concentrated in the areas of tort and commercial litigation, and employment-related matters. He also handles construction and mechanic’s lien cases. He chaired the Chicago Bar Association’s Blue Ribbon Committee on the new Illinois Discovery Rules, and currently sits on the Cook County IL Law Division Mediation Program Committee. He is a past member of the Board of Managers of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA), and a past President of the Young Lawyers Section of the CBA. Mr. Pipal is former President and founding Board Member of the Coordinated Advice and Referral Services (or “CARPLS”), Cook County’s Legal Aid hotline. He is Vice President of the National Center for the Laity in Chicago. He is past President of the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
Mr. Pipal recently moved to downtown Chicago, having raised a family in La Grange, IL. He is active in his sons’ lives, in the pro bono community, and in his church.
DENNIS A. BERG, a partner with the firm, is a graduate of the DePaul University College of Law where he was a member of the DePaul Law Review. While at DePaul, he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for outstanding achievement. He earned a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
Mr. Berg primarily practices in the field of personal injury and commercial litigation. He is admitted to the Trial Bar of the Federal Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has planned and moderated numerous Chicago Bar Association seminars and events. Mr. Berg regularly volunteers his time representing clients on a pro bono basis.
Mr. Berg, along with his wife and three daughters, make their home in Roselle, Illinois. He actively supports various charitable causes, including the World Craniofacial Foundation. He also serves as coach of a number of youth sports teams, principally softball and basketball.
