Partners, Dennis Berg and Faustin Pipal, have been practicing law together since 1989. The Pipal & Berg philosophy can be summed up in three words: Excellence, Responsiveness, and Professionalism. The firm has attained the highest rating (“AV”) for legal ability and integrity by the Martindale-Hubbell Directory, a source used by attorneys seeking information about the qualifications of other attorneys.
The firm is proud of its record in the court-room. All the firm attorneys have significant experience trying jury cases, bench trials, and administrative hearings. The firm’s partners are also active in the community, Mr. Pipal having risen to leadership positions in the bar and in the world of public interest law; Mr. Berg maintaining an active role in the charitable community, in particular, the World Craniofacial Foundation.
The firm’s attorneys are available to handle civil litigation, both tort and commercial law, throughout northern Illinois. All the firm’s counsel are licensed to practice in the Supreme and all State Courts in Illinois, and in the Supreme Court and Federal Courts of the U.S. With the authority of the Courts, and in association with local counsel, we have been involved in litigation in many other States around the country.
The firm takes great pride in our ability to render high quality legal services with a personal touch. Each attorney has had significant litigation experience, from the pre-suit stage through trial and appeal. Just as importantly, all the firm’s lawyers are committed to providing timely responses to any questions, concerns or recommendations of our clients. The firm’s attorneys also have extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
Martindale-Hubbell is the facilitator of a peer-review rating process. Ratings reflect the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and Judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell ratings fall into two categories: legal ability and general ethical standards. CV, BV and AV are registered certification marks of Reed-Elsiver Properties, Inc., used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
